Chord Company's PowerHAUS Mains Distribution Blocks

Chord Company's PowerHAUS Mains Distribution Blocks

The PowerHAUS range by Chord Company features three different 240V mains distribution blocks, each with six outlets for connecting hi-fi components. It is designed to minimise electrical noise and improve clarity, separation, timing, and dynamics.

Hand-built in England by the music and cinema lovers atChord Company, Powerhaus was originally created to meet their own demo room needs.

The PowerHAUS is not intended to turn a mediocre hi-fi into a top-tier system. Instead, it is a refinement tool to be used once the rest of the system is well set up. In multiple systems we’ve tested, it has delivered consistently impressive sonic improvements.

It’s important to note that the PowerHAUS is not a power filter and does not provide surge protection or conventional mains conditioning. Chord deliberately avoids filters and switches to prevent added noise or current limiting. Instead, it uses a proprietary MainsARAY system and isolated bus bars to reduce high-frequency noise without interfering with the signal path. While this may sound very technical, the key question is: “Can you hear the difference?” We believe you can.

Build quality is exceptional, with a solid aluminium chassis and heavy-gauge internal wiring – it’s genuinely a thing of beauty.

Chord Company’s PowerHAUS lineup includes the entry-level P6 ($1,450), the mid-level S6 ($2,600), and the flagship M6 ($5,150).
