Chord Electronics upgrades the small yet mighty Mojo 2

When Chord Electronics released the original Mojo in 2015 it single-handedly changed the landscape of the portable DAC/headphone amplifier market andhas become the benchmark against which all portable DACs are judged. Since then it has racked up numerous industry awards in its Mojoand Mojo 2 iterations, including winning the What Hi-Fi? Best DAC in its category a record eleven years in a row! Remarkably, the Mojo 2 has now swept both the What Hi-Fi? Best DAC and the flagship Product of the Year awards for FOUR consecutive years, solidifying its place as a landmark audio product.

Now the Mojo 2 gets an upgrade for 2026. While it’s not quite a Mojo 3 (Chord being Chord a calling it a Mojo 2 4.4), the new features are guaranteed to appeal to many. So much so, that we are already taking pre-orders from existing Mojo 2 owners who want to upgrade to the new version.

So, what’s new? Firstly, its USB-C socket can now be used for both data connection and charging for greater convenience. Next up is a new 4.4mm headphone socket, replacing one of the two 3.5mm sockets, opening up usage with a wider range of high-end headphones. Lastly, it now features independent output memory, meaning each headphone output remembers it's individual Gain, Crossfeed and DSP settings.

More importantly, the price is unchanged at only $995. We expect to receive stock before the end of the year so please get in touch with your local store if you would like to make this a Merry Mo-Jo Christmas!
