The S50 is DELA’s new standard network switch, evolving from their popular S100 and S100/2. It features a built-in power supply and a wide range of configuration options.
DELA has updated the features and performance of their highly acclaimed S100, a network switch designed specifically for audio streaming, while maintaining its compact size and condensing its functionality.
FEATURES
Connectivity
- 3x SFP+/SFP ports* (10Gbps or 1Gbps, compatible with DELA C1 cable)
- 6x RJ45 LAN ports (1Gbps, 100Mbps or 10Mbps, compatible with DELA C100 cable)
- Additionally, it includes a USB power output port for accessories. (Not for data transferring)
Power Supply
- The power supply section adopts DELA’s Clear Dynamic Power Supply, inherited from the MELCO Music Library N50.
- The rear panel is equipped with an IEC inlet.
Port Management
- S50 inherits the well-received 100Mbps ports from the S100, and now all RJ-45 ports can be freely configured to OFF/10M/100M/1G.
- Not only can the speed be changed, but unused ports can be electrically completely shut down. This allows you to optimize the network according to the usage status of the connected devices.
LED Indicators
- The communication speed of each port is displayed using color LEDs on the front panel, with 1Gbps (light blue) as the standard, allowing for easy visual confirmation of speed changes.
- Not only the port LEDs, but also Power LED can be dimmed by the button on the front panel.
- Rear LEDs show connection and speed.
- After confirming the connections, you can turn off the LEDs by pressing a button on the rear panel, eliminating the influence of LED control.
Design
- S50 has the user-friendly half-size chassis. (215 mm wide)
- The LEDs positioned symmetrically opposite each port on the rear panel are designed to enable intuitive switching of port speeds and port deactivation.

- Hand-assembled by skilled technicians.
- Manufactured in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
*The number of usable ports may be limited depending on the module used. The total maximum supply current for the S50’s x3 SFP+ ports is 1.8A (DC 3.3V). Please check the specifications of the modules. Additionally, our SFP Direct Attach Cable “C1” can be connected simultaneously to all three ports.
There are combinations that cannot be switched due to the specifications of the SFP modules or cables. For example, if the module and cable connected to the S50 are 1Gbps compatible and the speed setting is 1Gbps, but the module used in the connected device is 10Gbps compatible, communication will not be possible.
