Gold Note’s PH-5.2 Phono Preamplifier is a complete evolution of their highly regarded PH-5 Phono Stage.
It is suitable for any analogue system with inputs for MM and MC cartridges, and offers selectable EQ curves and adjustable gain and load settings, providing maximum versatility.
Faithfully reconstructing the original context of the recording has never been easier. The PH-5.2 lets you select the most appropriate equalisation curve for each recording directly from the display: RIAA, Decca London, or American Columbia. Applying the correct curve preserves the balance, dynamics, and character of the vinyl you are listening to, allowing you to enjoy every detail.
The Graphical User Interface simplifies load, gain, and equalisation adjustments and can store settings for one MM and one MC cartridge via the MM/MC option in Settings.
The PH-5.2 features a fully analogue core with discrete components, minimising signal path length and interference. High-quality relays switch settings without digital circuitry, preserving analogue purity, signal integrity, and the smallest details of vinyl recordings.
The black anodised, sandblasted aluminium chassis minimises magnetic interaction, enhancing background silence and micro-details. The upgraded power supply provides better stability, cleaner high frequencies, and a relaxed yet authoritative sound.

When they did a bond song together. However if you have a well recorded album like London Grammar or Faithless etc the music is not just fun but dynamic and entertaining.
