We at The Real Music Company love bringing you audio brands from around the world. This is a new brand for us: from the tiny country of Switzerland. Think of the majestic Alps, world-class timepieces, luxurious chocolates and premium cheeses.
Yes, I can hear you saying you can’t play music with Swiss cheese. Granted. But did I not mention that the Swiss are also renowned for their meticulously designed and engineered ultra-high-end audio brands, such as Goldmund, Nagra, and CH Precision?
This new brand I am trying to bring to your attention is destined for those lofty heights. Its origins go back to an engineering firm, ‘Engineered SA’ (not the most original name for an engineering company, but we’ll let that go). They spent years behind the scenes, designing for some of the world’s most prestigious audio brands.
Before launching their own brand, the team behind Engineered SA spent years developing technical solutions, streaming modules, and PCB designs for ultra-luxury Hi-Fi brands. As they manufactured high-end components behind the scenes, they had a front-row seat to the industry's shift towards digital and streaming media —Wattson Audio— was born.
The company’s talent was recognised byone of the world’s most elite ultra-high-end audio companies,andin2024 CH Precision acquired Wattson Audio, bringing the engineering relationship full circle. While CH Precision focuses on massive, cost-no-object flagship components, Wattson Audio offers the same uncompromising Swiss precision and technology at more attainable prices.
The product range is minimalist and simple. If you prefer more features, stop here. It has five components and a sixth was recently introduced at the 2026 Vienna Hi-End Audio show.
At the top of the reference-tier Madison range, we have the Madison Amplifier, which combines a low-feedback Class A/B linear circuit, a robust, regulated, and filtered external power supply, and a fully symmetrical discrete amplification stage in a compact design. It is designed to remain fast, stable, and articulate across a wide range of loudspeaker loads.
Next up is the Madison Streamer, an ultra-compact network streamer and DAC that delivers reference-level digital audio and features proprietary upsampling and a lossless 64-bit volume control, allowing it to drive both headphones and power amplifiers directly.
Rounding out the trilogy is the Madison Power S, a high-precision external power supply designed to elevate the Madison Streamer by delivering ultra-low-noise, rigorously regulated current that noticeably lowers the noise floor and expands dynamic detail, allowing the Madison Streamer to perform at its full musical potential.
Within the Emerson range, we have two minimalist streaming endpoints, or ‘bridges’, designed to add streaming capabilities to existing systems. One is a purely digital Streamer—Emerson Digital—which requires a DAC. The other is a Streamer/DAC—Emerson Analogue—, allowing you to connect it directly to a Line-In on your amp or preamp.
The new debutant will cater for the analogue/vinyl crowd and will be called the Madison Phono.
Ahh, what else are the Swiss famous for? Their absolute neutrality. Design that into your audio circuit, and you’re onto a winner!
We are very excited to represent this gem of a brand and look forward to sharing that excitement with you.
