Remembering our much-loved team member Anthony Muriel

Our much-loved team member of 12 years passed away on 12th March 2023. Rest peacefully Ant.

Ant was around the AV Industry in New Zealand for decades - he would tell us that many of the customers he took care of during his years with The Real Music Company weren’t even born when he started! Ant learned many lessons from the gurus of the industry and passed on his knowledge and, in some cases, his skills, to many.

With a background in Mathematics, his passion, love and appreciation for music kept Ant steadfastly in the AV Industry in many different capacities and roles, from Sales Consultancy and Management, Operations, Systems Design, and Corporate Management. He continued to evolve and hone his skills with current technologies to ensure his colleagues and customers were kept up to speed.

Ant also had a very keen interest in the art of numerous sports, although all from the comfort of his music-listening chair! In particular he was a passionate All Blacks and Tall Blacks fan.
