The Role

This is a hands-on, varied position at the heart of our Christchurch showroom. You'll handle retail sales, customer relationships, in-home installations, and contribute to local marketing. Two days per week you'll run the showroom sole-charge, so reliability and good judgement matter.

Store Hours: Tue–Fri 9:30am–5:30pm | Sat 10:00am–3:00pm. No Sunday or public holiday work.

What You'll Do

• Build genuine, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers

• Present the right solutions and guide customers to confident decisions

• Install equipment in customers' homes, professionally and carefully

• Contribute to local marketing — events, email, social media

• Keep the showroom sharp, welcoming, and well-presented

What You'll Bring

• A genuine, deep passion for music and hi-fi

• Proven retail sales experience in hi-fi and/or consumer electronics

• Strong technical understanding of audio, networking, and streaming systems

• The confidence and reliability to hold the fort independently

• Great communication skills — with customers, colleagues, and in writing
