We're hiring: Senior Sales Consultant, Wellington

This isn't a job for someone who just wants to sell things off a shelf.

It's for someone who gets genuinely excited when a customer hears a great system for the first time — who can talk about why a turntable matters, why the room matters, why everything matters — and make it feel like a conversation, not a lecture.

We're looking for a full-time Senior Sales Consultant to join our Wellington store at 9 Marion Street, Te Aro. You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team helping music lovers, audiophiles and home cinema enthusiasts find the very best gear in New Zealand.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same. You might be walking a customer through their dream turntable setup, out in the van installing a whole-house audio system, running the store solo, or posting on Instagram. It's varied, it's hands-on, and what you do genuinely matters.

• Consulting with customers and matching them with the right products
• Demonstrating and selling world-class audio and home entertainment gear
• Installing equipment in customer homes
• Running the store sole-charge one day a week
• Helping manage our online store, social media and email marketing

You'll be a great fit if…

• You have solid retail or sales experience — hi-fi or consumer electronics a real plus
• Music and audio genuinely excite you (non-negotiable)
• You're technically capable with consumer electronics
• You're confident working independently
• You hold a current, clean NZ Driver's Licence
• You have the permanent right to work in New Zealand
