The smallest member of the CAD (Computer Audio Design) noise-control family is also one of the easiest wins. The USB Control is a thumb-sized passive device that plugs into any spare USB A socket in your system and quietly reduces high frequency noise.
Plenty of audio components have unused USB sockets. Music servers, upsamplers, clocks, routers, network switches and digital interfaces can all benefit, and USB A sockets now turn up on many amplifiers and integrated music players too. Those ports carry +5V power that often feeds sensitive audio circuitry, and they are an entry point for noise. The USB Control reduces noise on both signal ground and the +5V line, from the kHz range up into the GHz range. CAD designed it to improve rhythm, timing and soundstage without "slowing down" the music.
It fits any available USB A socket, whether or not that socket is in the signal path. CAD likes it in firmware or service sockets and in sockets for connecting hard drives. There's no need to power anything down to fit or remove it, and you can use one on several components.

When they did a bond song together. However if you have a well recorded album like London Grammar or Faithless etc the music is not just fun but dynamic and entertaining.
