Already love your USB cable? The CAD (Computer Audio Design) USB filter lets you keep it. It uses CAD technology based on the patented filter in the USB II-R cable and plugs directly into your DAC or streamer's USB input, so the noise is dealt with right at the door of your DAC.
Servers, streamers and computers are noisy neighbours, and that noise travels down the USB cable. The In-Line filter reduces high frequency noise on the data signals, +5V and signal ground, and CAD says placing it at the B end suits a wide variety of USB cable designs. It is a B-end filter with one female and one male USB B connector, which places it as close to the DAC as possible. CAD describes the result as more clarity, a larger soundstage and better timing and rhythm.
Fitting is simple. Plug your USB cable into the server, computer or streamer, attach the filter to the other (B) end, then push the filter's plug directly into the DAC's USB audio input. It can also be used on its own, with no cable attached, in any spare USB B port on a component, where it reduces noise on the +5V and signal ground of the USB interface. It isn't designed to be paired with the USB II-R cable, which already includes the filter.

When they did a bond song together. However if you have a well recorded album like London Grammar or Faithless etc the music is not just fun but dynamic and entertaining.
