Ruby One doesn’t just meet expectations; it redefines what a moving coil cartridge can achieve
Every element was tested and refined — from cantilevers in Diamond, Ruby, and Boron, to stylus profiles ranging from fine-line to micro-elliptical — all in pursuit of unlocking more detail, more emotion, and more music from every groove.
Even the cartridge body went through countless iterations. The result? A beautifully machined alloy housing with Vertere’s signature 4-point fixing system, designed not just for aesthetics, but to enhance mechanical integrity and vibration control.
To ensure perfect synergy with the bespoke generator, we fine-tuned the cartridge's mass and structural balance. At its core, the Ruby One features a custom-designed low-mass moving coil generator, paired with an advanced telescopic Ruby/Alloy cantilever and a Micro Ridge nude diamond stylus. This combination captures every nuance with exceptional realism, from the subtlest string decay to the full bloom of a grand piano.
What truly sets Ruby One apart is its ability to resolve detail without exaggeration.
Its generator is engineered to sidestep common pitfalls seen in high-rigidity cantilever designs — minimizing distortion while delivering ultra-low noise, outstanding resolution, lifelike dynamics, and precise spatial imaging.

Precision-engineered Ruby cantilever measuring just 0.3mm in diameter, paired with a through-fitted Micro Ridge Nude Diamond stylus tip.
Telescopic Ruby-Aluminium Cantilever, engineered for ultra-rigidity and precise resonance control.
Blending the inherent strength of ruby with the ultralight characteristics of aluminium, this design achieves remarkable dynamic control, unwavering tracking stability, and impressive frequency extension.
The cantilever is meticulously mounted to the generator's Cross Coil assembly, providing a secure and highly responsive interface that maximises signal integrity and dynamic performance.
The Special Three-Point Contact design is precision-machined into the top surface of a single-piece aluminium alloy body to provide the required contact with the tonearm headshell and cartridge alignment accuracy
Each cartridge generator is individually calibrated and aligned to maintain optimal mechanical balance and unmatched performance
The Vertere signature Four-Point Generator ‘Floating’ Support system incorporates four stainless steel ‘spike’ screws, each meticulously adjusted for precise alignment and structural integrity

When they did a bond song together. However if you have a well recorded album like London Grammar or Faithless etc the music is not just fun but dynamic and entertaining.
