Compact and Clever: Heed Asterisk Integrated Amplifier

We currently have the new Heed Asterisk Integrated amplifier on demo in all our stores, and we are all impressed by its performance, particularly considering its size and specifications.

Heed Asterisk is a compact stereo integrated amplifier, designed to deliver a transparent and musical sound. With a power output of 2x30 W RMS at 8 Ω, it is ideal for small to medium-sized hi-fi systems. It features Heed’s proprietary Transcap technology, which employs output capacitors to produce a smooth, natural sound free from harshness.
You may assume that 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms isn’t sufficient to drive your rather “demanding” loudspeakers.

In reality, the Heed Asterisk integrated amplifier appears to manage even challenging speakers with ease — we have had it powering all manner of speakers in our demonstration room recently.

Its minimalist design and high-quality construction make the Asterisk an excellent choice for those seeking a compact yet capable integrated amplifier. It is particularly well-suited for listeners who appreciate a warm and detailed sound without unnecessary complexity. It has an amazingly low noise floor, and as a result, sounds agile and dynamic.

We think its excellent value for money at $2195 (current pricing on the date of this article.)
